GeneralEve, The First and Free WP Themes from WPEve™

Hi, WPEve™ and M2N Studio as the lead corporation of this website, has just released a new WP theme for free. This theme is similiar what WPEve™ is using in this website.

This theme is released under GNU license. I don’t understand much about kind of license, but all I know is you can use this theme for free, but please do not remove link at the footer.

Okay, let’s talk about this theme.

I named this theme: GeneralEve. I think this is suitable for many type of blogs. For you, Photobloggers, this theme is the best choice because it has great Gallery Page, and many more feature.

How to Install this theme:

There’s no special procedure to make this theme works in your blog. Just download it, extract, and upload it through FTP into your theme directory. (/wp-content/themes/). If you are not familiar enough with FTP, you can use Theme Installer feature in your WordPress backend (Appearance >> Themes >> Install Themes). Then activate the theme. Now the theme are ready, and running in your blog.

To make it working normally, these are some tips for you in using this theme.

• Make a sticky post to make featured post in your homepage.
• To make your blog separate with your homepage, create a new page titled “Blog”, and choose page template “Blog”.
• If you want to make a Gallery menu contains list of your photo gallery, create a page titled “Gallery”, and choose page template “Blog”.
• You can also make an Archive page, Tags page, and Sitemap page, and choose page template “Archive”,  ”All Topic”, “Sitemap”.
• Use text widget, and place it to “Footer Widget”, insert it with html links code, like “<a href=”#”>Home</a> | <a…” to make a nice footer menu.
• Edit file “advertising.php” to change advertising image in the sidebar. (Sorry, the default ads is my company M2N Studio. But, it’s okay if you remove or change it. If you keep it, thank you so much…)
