I wanted to share my recent experience with a debt collector called United Recovery Solutions (I think they also go by URS or Alltran) and see if anyone else has had a similar experience.
It started with a letter about a debt. What really got to me was the pressure tactics. They sent a letter with a bold deadline sayin: I had only 10 days to settle, orffer would disappear. It made me feel incredibly anxious and rushed, like I had to make a decision immediately.

I’ve since sent a certified letter requesting they validate the dethat theyIt’s been stressful, but knowing that what they were doing might actually be illegal under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) has helped me push back.
Has anyone elseHas anyone else dealt with these specific kinds of misleading letters from them?ndle it?
